Hi

Bit out of my depth here so hoping somebody can put me in the right direction. I have been tasked by my grandad! to find him a duel freeview tuner HDD, and DVD recorder unit...

I seem to get the impression that these type of units all seem to be a bit jack of all trades master on none?

Closest thing i seem to have found that people have given good comments about is the Humax 9200? this seems to tick all the right boxes however lacks DVD recording.

All help, advice, comments much appreciated.

far as i'm aware there is nothing yet with all 3 either
2 tuners and HD
or single tuner dvd/hd
humax has a really good rep. freeview playback, series link etc.
new hd/dvd machines are just about to be released with with the same functionality ie series link and pausing live tv but still only 1 tuner. pair these with a digital tv or external freeview tuner and you're away.
