I wonder if anyone could tell me if it is OK to use a new Allsop Softsweep cleaner with the Sony SLV-SE710 video recorder? I have read the instructions for the video recorder and it says only to use Sony video head cleaners as anything else may damage the video heads. Is this only to sale Sony products? Has anyone else used an Allsop cleaner, especially with Sony video players? Are they any good?

You can use any video head cleaning product with any VCR...just be sure to follow the instructions that come with the cleaner.
