hi, can you get a small lcd, say 23" give or take with a built in pvr?

this would be great in the bedroom, i think humax did a 32" version - too big for bedroom though.

if you know of any please let me know, cheers

Bigger tv's are more common now (LG have a version, as do Sharp and Samsung I think) althpugh I don't remember seeing them in less than 32"

Humax do (or did) smaller screens too - 19", 22" and 26"

i was told that the humax lcd tv with built in hard drive has a problem, and that you cant record anything if the tv is turned off, does anyone know if this is true?

I hope and presume that by off it means switched off and not in standby.

I don't know if it's still the case nor if it applies to this exact model - but the issue WAS

if you have a scheduled timer recording in progress and the TV is also on (in use)(doesn't matter if the TV was on or not when the recording started) you can't turn the TV off without cancelling the recording in progress. You have to leave the TV on until the recording is complete.

thats what i meant, does anyone have the humax lcd with built in pvr? to comment?

also are humax the only manufacturer of a small lcd with built in pvr

does anyone know if you can connect any external hdd to this via its usb??

i've won one off ebay but the ext hdd is missing, was hoping that any old hdd would do the job
