Decent Dual Tuner DTR with DVB for under £150

Hi everyone, this seems to be the place to be. I need to get hold of a Digital TV recorder fairly urgently. Have been looking in Argos at the Humax, Hitachi and DigiHome models, all seem fairly ok. My requirements are Dual Tuner, (I hear some can do dual tuner record, and watch something already recorded), must have Digital freeview channels, I think that's about it. What can you recommend. Are any of the ones currently available from Argos any good. Amazon seems to have 0 models. None at all. What can you recommend?

If you put PVR in Amazon search it brings up pages of them.

well last week i bought a humax pvr9200tb (black version) from pc world.

i paid £157 for it, they pricematched dixons online, the instore price was £180

slightly over your budget but i would honestly recomend it, its the best thing ive bought in ages, a brilliant piece of kit.
i think its a good price for this model, i did some hunting around and i couldnt find it cheaper anywhere else.

My only recommendation is to make sure you get a dual-record machine for that kind of money. Note that not all twin-tuner PVRs are dual-record.

agreed i think it looks ugly, my uncle has the single tuner version and it doesnt have the buttons on the front and looks much smarter than that one
