Hi

When I turn on my Pace Twin from cold or from standby I get large dark bands accross the screen, which disappear after a few hours.

Just wondering if Argos should be giving me a replacement.

Apologies if this is a known issue already covered, I did try the search function

Personally it's a new one, but check it's not the display, doesn't happen with the video recorder? If you could try it on a friend's or neighbour's tv it might be a good idea before asking for replacement.

The TV is a 10 year old KVS 29" Sony CRT (100Hz digital) and is fine on its internal tuner and when a DVD or video is playing.

It also happens on my 17" Philips TFT - new box time!!

sounds like it then, it'll be fine at argos, they know what your rights are.
