Humax foxsat HDR and freesat sky

I am looking into acquiring a Humax Foxsat HDR, I have at present a Pace box to get Sky freesat (which I assembled to the dish to a few years ago).
My questions are :
1.Would I be able to have the Humax foxsat hdr and Pace box connected to the TV set (as I understand the dish should be ok for both transmissionseach with there own aerial input)?
2.As I have poor hearing does the Humax foxsat hdr record programs with teletext captions.

1. For full functionaity, the Humax Foxsat HDR will need two feeds from the dish; & your Sky box requires another separate feed. This means that your dish has to have a quadruple LNB, with three feeds to the Humax & Sky box. It isn't clear from your post whether or not you have this.

2. Yes, the Humax will record subtitles.

You don't say whether you actually subscribe to Sky, or are using the Sky box for FreesatfromSky - if you are not a Sky subscriber, you may wish to consider opting out of Sky altogether & relying on Freesat - which will simplify your set-up & save you a feed from the dish.

I put in a quadruple lnb about two years ago to feed a tv set in another room. I only use freesat from sky in both rooms. Maybe I only should think about sky in one room and freesat with humax in the other.
My other comment was will the dish pick up both transmisions ok?
Thanks for the reply

There aren't both transmissions, the free channels are the same on both a sky box and a freesat box. The only difference is that freesat has it's own epg seperate to sky. Freesat simply look after the freesat epg nothing else. All the free channels from Astra2/Eurobird 1 can be viewed with any satellite receiver, generic fta, Sky or Freesat box. A generic box will most likely not have an epg, A Sky box will have an epg with subscription channels that you can't watch plus more free channels than is on the freesat epg. All 3 can watch any free channels from Astra2/Eurobird 1

Unless you want to record or get HD there's no point in changing a Sky box for a freesat one

My main aim for changing to humax was for the recording facility.
Many thanks
