Can I install TAPs to my Topfield 5800 from my laptop without having internet access

I've just got a 5800 and what to install some TAPs, unfortuneatly I'm without internet access at the moment (have just moved house). Can I still install TAPs using my laptop if I haven't got net access. I haven't installed Altair on the laptop yet either.

On that point, I can't seem to find Altair on the net to actually download it

As long as you have the TAP stored on your laptop you don't need to be connected to the internet to install them.
