Foxsat-HDR and HD sound issue

Just bought one of these, no issues, except the sound quality on BBC HD channel. All I get is sound from my front speakers, whatever setting I use. I set DD on or off, change my amp input modes, and no joy. Any help appreciated.

TIA.

There was a known issue with Top Gear if that's what you are thinking off. The HD preview loop has a test card incorporating a full 5.1 individual channel sound check.

No, it's been everything since I bought it on Friday. It upgraded straight away, so can't answer whether it was ok before the upgrade.

How have you connected the sound to your AV 5.1 decoder ?

The BBC HD opening sequence they use before each programme starts has clear rear channel output. Record the BBC HD preview loop and find the test card, may be your channel levels need adjusting.

Well, during the bits between shows I can hear sound, and now, watching Life I can hear sound, but for things like Doctor Who, where my amp says my rear speakers are on, nothing can be heard at all. Sounds better on the non HD channels.
