Does the PVR suffer this if you put it into standby or power off during the day, or only ever the following day?
Two thoughts;
In the menu, disable firmware upgrade checking (I'm 99.99999% sure there will never be any more firmware OAD broadcast);
Menu - Settings - Configuration - Receiver Upgrade - Auto Upgrade, set to "off".
Or since the receiver searches for an OAD at 3am each day, try setting recordings which end just before 3am and start after 3am. If it fails to record the first or successfully records the second, that would suggest it is
not the OAD check which is the problem.
If it is, and turning off auto upgrade fails to cure it, another way might be to set two recordings each day (daily repeat mode) for 2.59 - 3.01, as an auto upgrade cannot be triggered at 3am if both tuners are in use.
