hello all, my foxsat is up and running and I am pleased with it, apart from one small niggle, and that is when I have programed it to record a program on one and then been watching a different channel, it appears to turn itself over to the program that is being recorded and I cant turn it back to any other channels untill I have canceled the program that I was recording, ...help what am I doing wrong ?........

Well hopefully you have two sat connections to the box? If so are both working?

just checked them, and they are both showing good signal strength and quality,...earlier this evening I did go to record a program and it was the only program at that particular time and it said there was a conflict of recordings, I think I have only had that happen on my 9200t when I mistakenly tried to record 3 programs at once...I am not sure if this has something to do with it.

just a quick update on the recording situation, I manually pressed the red button to record one channel which is fine I then chose another channel and manually pressed red and it then recorded both channels at the same time and also allowed me to watch a third channel at the same time, so it just appears that it wont allow me to reserve two channels for recording at the same time, in fact it wont allow me to reserve one channel for recording and watch a different channel at the same time.....

one last update on the subject, (might help newbies like myself) got home from work tried to record two programs at the same time and was promptly told there was a conflict, so I turned the humax of at the mains then turned it back on again and did a factory reset, all is now well

I seem to have to perform a weekly reset of my FoxsatHDRs and SKY HD boxes!

A hard reset solves most issues.

Let's hope the new software is more reliable.
