Humax 9150T - recording anomaly

I've been using my Humax 9150T since May with no problems, in fact it's been fab but twice this week I found it still recording scheduled programmes 4hrs after it should've switched off! I couldn't see any indication of when the machine was going to stop recording.
It took a while to work out how to stop the recording but when I've checked the recording schedule it showed the half hour/ 1hr long programme as expected.

The clock has the right time and the programmes have been correctly recording every week for ages. One was CH4 the other BBC1. Both of the programmes were set from the TV guide with 2 minutes added on either end.

Anyone else experienced the 9150T taking over the programming and doing it's own thing??!!
I know it's better than not recording at all but it's still a nuisance.

If these were series or accurate recordings this usually means that the stb missed the change in running status flag or it was never transmitted

Re: Humax 9150T - recording anomaly

No they were both manually set with extra time either end to allow for late/early starts & finishes. Tried the series setting a few times and found I missed the starts of programmes so sticking to adding time either end.

Oddly the machine failed to record 3 separate scheduled programmes last night and when I switched it on the picture was frozen. It wouldn't respend to any buttons until I switched it off and back on at the back then all seemed fine.

Fingers crossed that'll have sorted it out.

If I have to reset the machine will I lose recorded programmes?

No a factory reset only deletes the recording schedules and resets any changes to preferences to defaults. A disc format however will of course delete existing recordings
