Still not made up my mind which pvr to buy.

Having watched this forum for some time I see plenty of posts about problems with the Humax but very few about the Topfield.
Can I conclude that the Topfield is more reliable, or is it just that there are more Humax users?

Hard to say, but I have a 9200 Hummy and a Topfield 5800 and the Toppies the better machine for me. Can't comment the newer 9150 9300 except to say that lack of usb archiving would rule them out for me

Had my 5800 for years now and been a gem to own. If you need usb to / from PC, toppy is the way to go.
