Re: psp go

Not been reading up on the PSP Go, but since the videos related to Gran Turismo PSP all seem to be running on the PSP Go then is there any benifit in getting the PSP Go for GT?, Is it upgraded hardware etc?
Suprised they didnt add a right analogue stick, it needs one.
Looks class tho anyway and am tempted.

IGN: Gran Turismo Review

Well IGN is only one review, you should've at least used metacritic to back you up there with more than one review

Gran Turismo (psp) reviews at Metacritic.com

Re: psp go

it is expensive, but a PSP + 16GB memory card + GT will cost you around £200, so its not *that* expensive if you plan to have lots of games stored on your memory stick.

thanks for the play.com link, missed the tesco one before. Hmm, black or white...

edit: ordered black

I thought it had been change to the first 10,000 who register. Having said that it probably doesn't help you any way. I've pre-ordered mine from Canada for £160 including shipping. If I can register it and get the free GT Portable then fine. If I can't then no big deal.

It's still £40 cheaper then the cheapest UK price. Granted I won't have a warranty but I'm not bothered about that. Most of the consoles I've had in the last seven years have been imports including two PSP's and two DS's and I've never had a problem with them except my launch 360 which are known to be unreliable anyway.

The free offer for GT Portable is in the form of a download code for the PSN so depending on the registration process it may still be possible to get it with a US console. Assuming it's sent by email there shouldn't really be a problem.

Re: psp go

I was quite tempted by one of these but I logged onto the ps store a moment ago and see they are now selling PSP download "Need For Speed: Shift" for £31.99! This is shocking really considering the rrp is £29.99 according to play and I can buy it on UMD for £24.99 from play. Where is the logic here? They are in danger of pricing themselves seriously out of the market.

The problem is once you have the Go you cannot just shop around for the cheapest game price, Sony have got you by the proverbials. This whole sales model has now put me right off until Sony confirm how we will go about getting our UMD games onto the device.
