Hi

I've just noticed I've got about £3.50 in my PSN wallet. It must have been change left over from a more substantial download, probably Wipeout or someting.

Tempted to just buy that Noby game to see what it's about but is it recommended or is there something better in that price range? I'm not expecting too much for the money but something playable is better than just chucking the money away (I did that with Linger in the Shadows )

Might help if you let us know what sort of games you like?

IMO the best PSN games, ones with most life for replay and value for money, as well as being fun are:

- Warhawk
- Super Stardust HD
- Pixeljunk Monsters
- Savage Moon (PJ Monsters is probably better due to co-op and wife/kid friendly)

Of course you can just leave your spare funds in your PSN Wallet, and add a bit more when something comes out that appeals?

Thought about PJ Monsters & SM but think I prefer my Strategy games turn-based and on PC

Warhawk is well thought of but a bit out of my spare £3 odd price range.......

Was just wondering if Noby Boy was any good or pants. Might just do as you say and leave the funds in wallet towards a future purchase. Just to complicate things, Everybody's Golf Dino course looks interesting for that price as well.

I think all PS1 games are £3.50. I bought Crash Bandicoot a while back an loved it! The range is quite good now so you should be spoiled for choice!

Hi thanks for the PS1 suggestion.

I tried the original PS1 Wipeout and was horrified at the graphics lol.

When I first got a PS1 back in '95 or whenever the 3D graphics seemed amazing but now the old Wipeout ships look as if they were composed of about 10 polygons.

As you say though, the range is now quite good and some games have probably aged better than others.

It's different....typical crazy jap game I wouldn't say it's pants but it isn't the best game I've played from PSN.

My youngest loves it and the Crash Bandicoot games but I can't watch it for more than 2 mins before wanting to rip my eyeballs out.
