Did anyone download the demo that was with Episode 7 of Qore?

Although Ep7 was free, the demo was only available to yearly subscribers. I really liked the look of this and with a demo up on Qore, but i'm not a subscriber, so no demo for me

* Trophy support
* In game music from XMB
* Local Co-op
* Level creation and online sharing

Published by Capcom, although I think it is developed in Scotland and its meant to be out early this year.

Yes. It was quite a clever and simple game mechanic, but for a very odd reason the framerate wasn't up to scratch. It's not like the game is doing anything spectacular. So that put me off.

If the framerate is improved before the final release, then it could be quite an addictive game

re: Flock - Preview Thread

cheers.

psblog comments from devs reported framerate/tearing issues fixed for release... probably explains why it wasnt a full demo release tho!

Re: Flock - Preview Thread

Theres something about smaller games that are ablot more appealing to me.

I'm getting very, very bored of over-priced, over-rated, disc games that can be completed in 6 hours and manage to get 10/10 just because of multiplayer.

I think I've got more playtime with PSN games in since i've had the PS3 over any disk games, except maybe SF4... and thats because of local co-op!

Anyway, here Blanka in Flock:

Hopefully under £10 and I'll ignore the euro-gamer review.

Re: Flock - Preview Thread

Hmmm... someone with "Sheep" in their name liking a game called "Flock".... not Welsh by any chance?

I quite enjoyed the PS1 sheep herding game, and have been keeping my eye on this. If you can play as Blank then even better, he's my SF4 character of choice

Re: Flock - Preview Thread

Quietly decent, but not £12 decent Think i'll pass until a few more details /reviews leak out; like is co-op online? It dosent appear so, but that might tempt me more.

Gameplay is ok, but i think the herding is a little weak - they seem to break up into individuals a bit easy. The sheep also seem to love running off cliffs - dont crossbreed your sheep with lemmings yet when trying to herd them along the flat them seem reluctant to go fast at all? the UFO beam / scare area just seems a bit imprecise. Sheep get stuck on knocked down fences a bit easy.

Pluses are it is colourful, and making lambs bought a smile when the cheap pr0n music kicked out might be great for kids?

Re: Flock - Preview Thread

I've quite enjoyed it so far.

2-player can be frustrating as you really need to co-ordinate everything to a fine level.

Single player has been good so far, been winning parts for the level editor, which looks like it could be fun.... if used right. The animals can be abit annoying, but taking things slowly really help as they dont dash off.

graphics are well polished. it has trophies and in-game xmb music.
