Linger In The Shadows

Saw this on the PSN store for £1.99, was intrigued, decided to look it up on Wikipedia, but I don't understand what it actually is.
Has anyone bought this? What do you do in it? Is it worth buying?
Thanks

It's a weird ass demo. You watch this surreal film and pause it at certain points where you can move the screen around and look for stuff. You can also fast forward and rewind.

Is it worth getting? Well it's 16 (i think) easy trophies. Other that, no in my opinion. Just a few developers thinking they are being artistic and clever, but it's not a game.

I'm not sure about whether to get it. Oh well, thanks anyway. The reason I asked was because I was wondering how best to use up my £11.51 in my wallet. If anyone has any ideas, please post in this thread:

It's completely mental. The biggest thing to be aware of is that it's NOT a game. It's like an interactive demo and unless you're into the demoscene a lot of the interactivity will be lost on you, as it's little references to other demoscene people.
For the low price it's not much of a risk to take, but I have to say that I was expecting some kind of jaw-dropping effects from LIS, which it didn't really deliver.
At one point a basset hound swims through the air towards you, though. That's something you don't see every day.

As for how to use up your £11.51, I'd recommend any of Pixeljunk Monsters, FlOw (only £3.49 now, I think), Pixeljunk Eden (a bit frustrating, but excellent soundtrack) and Echochrome. All a bit different from mainstream releases and worth a few hours of enjoyment at least (imho).

Re: Linger In The Shadows

It's £1.99...

That's nothing.

Buy it. It's one of the weirdest things you'll ever experience and believe me, every time someone comes round to your house, you'll want to show it them.

For the sake of £1.99, I think we should be supporting these small, independent developments.

Re: Linger In The Shadows

I'll get round to it eventually
I bought High Velocity Bowling recently, so that has been brilliant
I'll top up a fiver soon, and then I'll have £5.24 - enough to get Linger in Shadows, and something else for £3.25.

The Last Guy - really addictive and a cool take on old arcade games.
