Yep, if you like old skool shooters you'll be right at home

Yeah I think this game is great. The graphics are nice and the power up system is pretty cool, although maybe a little boring.

It is certainly not in the Ikaruga or Radiant Silvergun league of shooters, but it comes pretty close. Have to say my favourite bit is in the first level about 30 secs in and you get this old skool quote reminsicent of All your bases It has some nice derogatory comments too when you die.

The only real issue, is that extra lives and credits are essentially useless, as once you lose your weapon powerups you are completely useless in the later levels.

I got it yesterday, had a quick go and not sure about it yet.

The power ups seem a little weak to me, will have more time on it later so can comment more then.

I prefer Astro Tripper after getting into it, Soldner is good for coop tho

Sorry, I just saw local last time I read that

It's local co-op only from what I can see.
