Cost of PSN games?

Is it just me or is everything getting more expensive?
Dunno if it's the strength of the pound or what but I keep seeing simple games I want to play then finding they are £7, £8 or £9 which I don't think is worth it.

I loved prince of persia but am too tight to download the HD version. I can get platinum next-gen games new for 12 - 15 quid. I have also been playing stacks of PS2 games (never had a PS2) and they are a right bargain, especially second hand. I can get 3 for a tenner!! They are full length and look pretty good when upscaled. Same with 1942, just not £7 worth of game:

Sony bring back the pixeljunk monsters / superstardust bargains
