This is an informal weekly Speed Lap Competition for all those who fancy that bit of extra competition between AVF players.

Each round will commence on Monday, run through the week and finish on Sunday (12.00am Deadline).

The winner from each week will get to pick the forthcoming ship/track and class combination. The results will be posted on Monday and the new round will commence straight after.

RULES:-
Simple, there isnt any, the Speed Lap can be done through Racebox, just select the Speed Lap option and the relevant class type, ship and track. It's up to you if you turn on the player assist. Please submit Speed Lap times only.

The only thing is, try only posting legit times and not glitch times.

What does it mean if your time has a star next to it? Just my fastest time has that and its not on the leaderboard, another slower time is, its all very confusing.

Ok my fastest times are 0.32.69 and 0.32.71 both with Piranha but they both have a star next to them, whats that mean first?

But the time its showing for me online is 0.33.96 with the Assegai.

Anyone know why my Piranha times are not registering? The leaders all used the Piranha.

This might seem a daft question, but you are playing in Speed Lap mode and not Time Trial aren't you?

Yep speed lap on the racebox thing, its odd and i cant find out why i have stars next to the two times that wont register.

Dave think you might want to change the banner mate to Speed Lap and not Time Trial, as time trial in this game is a 3 lap affair and not 1 hot lap like the usual TT thing.

Speed lap= 1 hot lap (like traditional TT)
Time trial = combined laps of 3 or more depending on difficulty.

Ok new time posted below but I seem to be having the same problem as Del Boy, stars next to my three best times and and my fourth time is the only one that I
is on the global list. Hopefully it's just a case of the leaderboards not updating yet.

Sorry Spinke, but I though your earlier post implied that you weren't using Venom class? if you are, my apologies, that's an amzing time
