ridgerama, what's this "colon" thing , I’ve looked all over the US store at this game and can't see what your on about.

Having said that I can see the colon, in the name but nothing that suggests that it will not work in the UK, work appreciate you explaining

He means that people will misread the title as 'Strip Poker' instead of '... Vegas Strip: Poker' - i.e. that people will expect computer nudity.

I bought this game from the US store, and it works offline. I haven't tried online. To be honest, I'm just using it to learn how to actually play the game - not ready to lose my simulated money online yet. Can't even beat the computer on Amateur level - I'm just too impatient.

I saw the title and for we were travelling back in time to the Commadore 64 "Strip Poker" days.

Nice placement of the colon - cheap marketing trick that - get the teenagers interested.

i cant get mine to work online. keeps saying "backend services cannot be found - timeout", even when logging in with my us account

OK, I just went into online play, selected a table (only four games available at the moment - but I guess it is early in the USA) and entered the game. I didn't actually stay to play as I'm still trying to learn the rules, but it did seem to work OK. I saw the others finishing their hand, looked at the avatars, etc.

I've got a UK PS3 and signed in to PSN with a US account.

bought it last nite , not really worth it found it very slow and well rubbish . was really excited 2 get a poker game for ps3 but this rained on that parade

Use the Turbo buttons and turbo-fold.

It plays quite a good game and worth £4.99 if you like Texas Hold 'Em. I haven't tried online but it seems a well suited game for relaxed remote play with some mates.

Has anybody downloaded the UK version of this yet, & is it worth £6.99?

I'm considering purchasing this, but I wont bother if it's as bad as " World Series of Poker 2008 - Battle for the Bracelets ". I found that game to be too slow & it had far too many video clips during each game.

I'm a little annoyed that we're being charged £2 more than the Americans though
