Blast Factor
Can one of you kind gents help a useless old buffoon and tell me how far I have to get into the game before I get a save point and therefore an option to continue on the front screen???

hi caveman. we miss you in the OGC..

i don't think there is this option. i think its one of those games where you play till you die and then you play again till you die but each time trying to get better than the previous go.

hope that made sense.

Slowly getting back on the road to recovery so I will be back on-line soon, and as I have not played for ages, I am looking forward to being the clan whipping boy !!!

Blast Factor
was playing this yesterday and a message came up when i started the game saying that an update was available in the playstation store but i could find no such update

has anyone else found it

Yes it is, when that ever happens is an entirely different matter....seems we are getting the same treatment as High Velocity Bowling over here.....i.e. getting shafted.

yeah there is an update planned to include the trophies.
reading online it looks like it has already been released oversees, and it implied it was going to be released yesterday, but seems it wasnt (not for us anyway)

I don't get prompted for any update when I start my copy of Blast Factor. Is it the EU version you have Genie1?

Yeah I have the EU version.

Completed specimen 1 and didn't get a trophy

No I dont think they are available for the Uk yet as I checked last night and there was no update at all

I write further to your recent e-mail regarding PlayStation 3 which has been forwarded to me at our Head Office. Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding to your query.

As you are aware, Sony Computer Entertainment America recently released trophy support for Blast Factor for PlayStation 3. I am happy to say that Sony Computer Entertainment Europe aims to implement trophy support for this title shortly, and this is expected within the next fortnight.
