Just added some more funds to my account and downloaded Tekken HD it rocks. It conjured up some very good gaming memories, 4 of us 15 yr olds hanging a round a 14*TV all drooling over the original Tekken on the PSone (Tekken at the time did for Playstation what Halo is doing for the Xbox and 360.... selling consoles).

So here is too old fav's looking great dressed up in HD and here is to old new games and hopefully a killer new seris...... We need a knew PS hero....

Silly question, when you download Tekken 5, does it save to the same place where the free demos are stored. Or does it create a new directory somewhere else ?

So if Tekken 5 is going to be available on European store at PS3 launch on 23 March - when will it go on the US store? I have funds waiting to buy it as i can't get funds onto the HK store.

How does Tekken 5 measure up to Dead Or Alive? I really got into DOA3 when I had my XB, loved the fact that it was such an instant pick up and play game, high octane with awesome visuals. Really turned me away from the Tekken 5 path.

Is it online? Because one thing I've noticed about fighting games is that the single player modes SUCK after a short time.

You can't really compare Tekken 5 DR to DOA4 anyway. DOA4 was a new game developed from the ground up for the 360 and released on a DVD. Tekken 5 DR is a reworking of a PS2/PSP/Arcade game in HD provided as an £8 900MB download. Hopefully when Tekken 6 is released it will have online play. The Tekken franchise is a lot more technical gameplay wise and not reliant on button mashing as much as DOA4. Although when it comes down to it the Virtua Fighter franchise beats them both hands down.

I have a thought.

If someone with a HK account (due to loophole closing this would likely need to be someone actually in HK) create a 2nd master account and loaded £20 or so onto it, then removed their card details from the account. That should leave only the account, with no ability to load more funds or access the credit card without actually adding it again. That account could then be given to one of us poor people with no access to the HK paid for downloads, with the value loaded to the account repaid via paypal or similar payment system. It's something I could be interested in if anyone was willing to do the account creation/fund loading part.

The PS3 version does not have the movies for the individual characters. You can download three character ending movies once you won enough points. The PS3 version is only about 900MB in size and not big enough to include the movies too.

ign ps3 has updated its usa realese dates and is now showing 3 downloadable games for feb 26th and guess what tekken dr is one of them

As above. Is it going to be available to pay via a fake US address and a UK credit card or is it just worth waiting the extra 20+ days for it to appear when the UK ones are out.

Still don't like Sony's stupid payment system. IMO if you pay then it lets you download simple as - not linking to the actual account on the machine. The PS3 I bought had it loaded but of course the account details had been wiped so I can't actually play it and will have to pay to play/download again.

I believe it is, yes. It looks good for a downloadable game.

1. Yeah, you can play the game in resolutions upto 1080p.
2. No, you can#t pay with a UK card. I found out the hard way

You can use a UK credit card on the US store. It just depends on the type of card as not all of them will work. My Halifax Mastercard works fine and I think most Mastercards work as well.

well so much for namco saying tekken dr would be realesed at end of feb, it is now changed from coming out today to out this thu the 1st march, which makes sense considering american store is updated every thursdays, how much longer sony gonna make us wait for the same version hk store had since before newyear.

well doesnt look like anyone get tekken dr this week, ign has now got tekken dr as coming out on the 8/3/07 now. any more delays and ill be able to get this on uk store before the usa one also noticed go puzzle down now as 15/3/07, i bet sony has got nothing planned for march on the store so now they delayed tekken and puzzle so they giving something out each week on the store in march. at moment no site has any listings for anythink coming up on the store this week
