Apologies if there is a thread for this already, but I couldnt find one in the search.

Anyone have this? I loved the old games. Would like to know how this compares. Is it as fun? As manic? Any bugs/issues? Worth £7.99?

Got the game yesterday, good fun and well worth £8 if you have friends/family to play with.

But, not as good as Bomberman 4 on SNES, this is the one where every player has an ability and players can use animals/vehicles (all which were perfectly balanced). If you have not played this one do so as IMO it is one of the best local multilayer games ever.

Back to the PSN game, I tried to play online but no games were found.

There is also a zombie/paintball game mode which I havent played in previous Bomberman games and this mode is really fun.

I held off buying this, bought it when I saw it in the special offers. Its good fun and worth the £4 I paid.

I think special offers last for 2 weeks before they're changed.

So how longs it been like this cause might have to pick it up. Is it worth it though cause I'd only use it as SP and MP if it had it.

In my opinion it's easily worth £4. Went on sale last Thursday.

Lots of different modes, bombs and perks and anti-perks to mix the game up.

Upto 8 players can play, so like you can play yourself with 7 other computer players (of which you can set their 'intelligence' to easy, normal or hard). You can also have friends join in. There is also online play where up to 4 people locally can join an online game.

There are character items to unlock to dress up your little bomberman.

There are trophies too.

Think those are all the key points, the one thing that would make this game extra special is if it was PSP compatible too.

Edit: Just seen this weeks PSN Store special offers, Bomberman is still on it so it'll be £3.99 for at least another week.

Is it easy to find online games with this? I love bomberman but don't want to buy this version and find that no-one plays online.

i played a few weeks ago and there was plenty of folk still online, always a few games going anyway.

i would think there will be a few more folk about this week now that it's going cheap on PSN.

buy it, you'll be pleasantly surprised, awesome wee game for £4.

I will give it a blast then. I just find it rubbish in one player mode but multiplayer bomberman is stupidly brilliant hence I want online games. Sure I can tempt my brother-in-law to get it and play online
