Don't they have exactly the same number of buttons?

dpad, analogue, 4 face buttons, 4 shoulder buttons, guide/ps button, start & other, 2 analogue sticks. Technically when you include the six axis function there is even more going on with the PS pad. I can understand the comments that find the 360 pad too big or complain about the dpad but I've never anyone say its busier than the PS pad

Sure do mate, I don't get the here there everywhere comment. Don't need to turn this thread into an XBOX vs PS3 debate but the controllers are exactly same in amounts of buttons the only difference between the 2 is ergonomics. Personally I find the Six Axis too small and light. I dont have massive hands but as someone else stated it feels a little to flimsy to make you feel "part of the game". I really need to get my hands on a DS3 pad as the weight and rumble feature could be the difference.
Sony needs to do the right thing and sell the KZ2 & PS3 bundles with free DS3 controller and a free headset.

Anyway it works fine initially but that turbo mode makes no difference at all.
It worked out at £49.31 from renchi.com, inc. $20+ carriage For some reason Total Console, wouldn't accept my credit card. I bought an XCM, product for the 360 a while back which had a turbo function on it, that was pretty useless too. I'm interested to hear your thoughts on the Cross Battle, when you've had change to give it a workout.

I've used Play Asia, lots of times before with no problems Se777en. Mainly for software but they've never let me down. I'm sure they're a pretty established company.

That would be sweet to get the pad working wirelessly. Anyone post the link if they find it please

Re: XCM Cross Battle Adapter (use a wired 360 controller on a PS3)

That was the total amount I paid them, which includes the most expensive shipping rates.

The least expensive way to ship it was by Airmail, and that was 5-8 days for delivery. As I've paid for the courier service I'm expecting it in 3-5 days at most.

Re: XCM Cross Battle Adapter (use a wired 360 controller on a PS3)

Depending on where you get it from and luck you will probably still be charged from customs, when you collect it. So most sites currently selling it the total charge will be about £50 ish. Which i think is a bloody fortune for what it is. Had a better dabble last night and it is strange as i got used to the PS3 DS pad and primary triggers at the top, but never liked the left stick position. This feels like starting again using the 360 triggers as the primary ones after swapping keypad layout around from defaault, and i am still dying as much. I will give it a couple of weeks but if there is no gaming improvement it will be for sale.

You're probably right. The last XCM product I bought was vastly overpriced, almost 80 quid if memory serves. And it didn't really do what I wanted either. It's just the thought of using my "preferred" 360 pad for FPS games which is making me part with my money.... (again).......

Not too sure what headset you're on about Se777en? I'm talking about the Cross Battle Adapter, which allows you to use a wired 360 joy pad on the PS3

Would this be of any use.
PS3 / Xbox 360 Controllers
You can change around the module so it has the same sort of set up as a 360 pad on the PS3

I haven't bought one. A work colleague brought it to my attention so I thought I would share it with the good people of AVForums. I was waiting to read some real world comments before I made a decision but I'm actually quite taken with the Saitek controller neuty posted above:
