Hi,

Whilst having Sky HD installed yesterday, the Optical cable on my PS3 got disconnected....when I put it back it, I'd not got it aligned properly but didn't realise until later when I had no sound.

Have now reconnected properly, but still no sound?

Have I broken it????

Help?????

Quite possibly it got damaged in being knocked out of the ps3's port, they are a bit fragile... Best way would be to try another if you have one, or test the cable on something else with optical output...

Try wobbling it about, know it sounds daft but it works on mine which is tempremental

Phew, all sorted.......when switched back on later in the day, all was well.

Thank god, was panicking there in a real.....MY BABY sort of way.
