Re: IR Control for PS3

if you dont want a dongle you can look for ps3toothfairy or ir4ps3, these will work with ir remotes like the harmony range and other programable ir reomotes

i just got my hands on the ir4ps3 and it works a treat, i no longer need my ps3 controller to watch blu rays

Re: IR Control for PS3

I've tried using an old PS2Ir dongle conencted viaa PS2 controller/USB adapter cable and it was painfully slow receiving IR commands.

Can anyone confirm they are using any of the PS3 IR remote dongles (not IR2BT) that work as well as the BT remote?

Where? I just looked and couldn't see it.

Edit: ah, just found it in the 'completed' section. Oh well!
