PS3 Display set up

Hi

I have a PS3 running on a Sony Bravia 32" model KLV S32A 10A.

I do not yet have a HDMI cable, I am running through the D terminal.

My problem is this, I bought PES 2009 and played it for the first time yesterday. Whne playing a match, the players become 'blurred' on the the screen. When you run, the kits blur. Why is this? Do I have the system set up correctly for display purposes? Is this a common problem? Is theere anything I can do to reduce the blur. All other images are superb, its just the moving image!

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Simon

Re: PS3 Display set up

I had this problem yesterday with Little Big Planet. I've got a different telly but managed to solve it ( not perfectly though) by changing the drive mode on the telly (for the ps3 input) to smooth out faster motion. I'm not sure exactly what happens but I think it displays using a higher frequency ( or maybe a more appropriate frequency)

The graphics on Pro evo are a bit blurry anyway when not through HDMI. I think you can change the ps3 to output 50 or 60 hz but can't remember whether this is for games or just something like dvd playback. Best thing is to try different settings and see what you think. Try another game with fast motion (eg. motorstorm) see how that is then you'll get a better idea whether it's more the game, ps3 settings or telly
