Well its basically a copy of the 360 thread. So how many of use out there are addicted to Ps3 trophies? I know I certianly am even though I've only got 40 so far. My most cherished so far is the 100 headshots in Uncharted.

I am, i wont buy a any game unless it has trophies in it. In saying that Im only level 5 something but I do love my trophies.

I was a terrible Achievement W**** on the 360 and it's followed me to the PS3. A game without Trophies either has to be very good or a Music Genre game, They're the only exceptions i have otherwise i don't buy them.

I can see this issue only getting worse when the Home is improved and all our Trophies are carried over.

I really need a new Hobby and I'm considering Golf.... for real

I do like trophies but I don't understand how they are implemented. Some games are rock hard (for me) to get even a bronze and then in other games you get one for sneezing? or pressing start. I got a silver in Prince of persia for doing the first level? It took more than half the game in uncharted for me to get a silver (for headshots I think)

Depends on the type of game and what the dev wants you to do. Some are obscure in that you'd probably never normally do it and some are very easy like completing tutorials/levels. I just 100%'d Astro Tripper and I gotta say whilst not the hardest game to get trophies it was very satisfying

I just wish SSF2THD had them, I can't get off that game!!

I think trophies should be implemented so the devs want you to explore all their hard work. i.e. GTA IV. Not these silly ones like complete the first level or press start etc but not extremely hard ones either like get 10, 000 kills online (Gears of war I looking at you.)

My name's winstano, and I'm a trophy-holic... I passed the 200 mark yesterday and am now at level 6... I find myself cursing the LBP community when I don't pass the no of hearts needed to get some more trophies every time I go on it

I never used to be, but when I bought LBP I began to love them, and after buying Super Stardust HD - the trophies in that are so addictively frustrating
I wish they would update MGS4 to include trophies, that would be awesome

Ever since more games use trophies my ps3 gets more use than my 360, if a game hasn't got trophies then i will get it on my 360, but if it as both trophies and achievements then my ps3 gets the vote.

Yeah I'm a pure trophy w***e. Have turned down games on the basis of them not having trophies, ie tomb raider.

I'm doing things in games I've never done before just to get a bronze trophy. The second I stop playing a game I go to my trophies to sync new ones or just see whats the next one in my sights.

Very sad...and I already play golf, well kinda.

Yer I am a bit but not much do like seeing them pop up lol. My best so far is the Platinum trophy on Uncharted.

Hello im Radionx and im a trophy addict.

I used to love playing my 360 and getting achievements.

I used to use my ps3 to play blu-rays only.

Now thanks to Uncharted im starting to feel the urge to collect more and more trophies im buying more and more ps3 games.

Im jonesing for a fix - I havnt had that "ping" of a new trophy appearing on screen for over 2 weeks now and I wont for at least another 2 till my console comes back to me all repaired and working.

Only at level 4 so far, and quite chuffed that I got a Platinum with the first game I played for trophies. Currently hunting down the Forum No. 1 spot for 360 gamerscore - then I'll be gunning for top spot on the Trophy leaderboard too

OT, i do like getting trophies but i'm not addicted if a game has them great i'll try and get them, if it doesn't then so what, i buy for the game itself not if it has trophies or not.

In BioShock you don't get a trophy for completing the game on Easy or Medium, and you get a Bronze for completing it on Hard. Or to put it another way, you get the same reward for completing the game on Hard as you do for hacking a stationary security bot in the first section - when told to

i wouldnt say im addicted, but i do like getting them.
i didnt even know what they were until farcry2 came out, or hadnt reali looked into how you get them on anything.
started getting a few on that, but had no intentions of getting all of them.

when cod:waw came out i wanted to complete this (on veteran) for myself, but after completing that and only needing about 3 trophies for the platinum i thought id get that one. (still my only platinum) but then after buying burnout and getting a lot of EASY trophies on that i agree, i think there needs to be some sort of levelling that they can apply.

after i had worked for HOURS to get the cod veteran bronze trophies, to then have to "win a race" "send an invite" "change the colour of a car" etc, i did feel a little like id cheated lol!!!

still, i have just hit 200 (lv6) and am enjoying getting them!!
