'Out of Range'

Hello,

i wonder if you can help me. i have recently bought a 32" Sony Bravia LCD 1080p and i am trying to connect my PS3 using the HDMI connection. when playing a dvd it works fine but when i put a game in the screen goes black and it then flashes up and says out of range. What is the problem?

i would be gratefull for your help

does it defiantly support 1080p if not try changing the video output setting to 1080i .

this should sort you prob

It will be in your display settings, just tell it to set up thru HDMI, then you can either set it automatically, or manually.

Auto should detect what your screen can do and adjust your propertys to match your TV, otherwise Manual will let you untick 1080p and leave all the others ticked.

Make sure you've got your scart lead unpluged, and only your HDMI lead in.
