transfering files from PS3 to PSP

I dug out my PSP last night and updated it to try out the remote play function. Thought it was pretty cool for showing off but not really that useful for every day use (unless you happen to work/lunch/travel within wifi hotspots).
I do however like the idea of watching movies on the psp on the train. I have an external hard drive conected to my ps3 with 150 divx movies on it. Is there a way to copy these files to my psp memory card without the use of a pc? I have a 40GB PS3 BTW.

Re: transfering files from PS3 to PSP

as long as you can see them in the movie section of your PS3s XMB you should be able to push copy, and if the PSP is connected via USB to the PS3 it will pop up as a "copy to" location
