As mentioned above, can the PS3 do this as I have two screens in my HT, a projector and an LCD, both are HD? The projector is connected via HDMI and the LCD via Component

As far as i know its not possible at the moment, the one thing that annoyed me was about a year ago when they said the ps3 will have dual hdmi outputs for multiplayer gaming!!!!

I tried this iwth my LCD TV through HDMI and my Dell 2405 through Component but you can only have one display at a time. To change you have to go into the options and select the other output type.

unless you go for the component route, and connect some phono cable doubler's but this will basically use the same output signal for your devices which might cause problems if one device only supports a number of resolutions
