Hi I recently got a PS3 but I'm have problems with the sound on HDMI

My TV is a Philips HD-DVI LCD screen

Reading the posts on here with people with similar problems it seems that DVI cannot recieve the sound from the HDMI cable.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to sort this problem ? Or can anyone recommend a set of cheap speakers that have an optical connection

You need a phono to stereo 35mm adaptor http://www.maplin.co.uk/SEODynamicPa...asp?ModNo=1218 then set the video to hdmi, and the sound to av, then obviously plug the red and white phono leads into the adaptor and plug the adaptor into the sound input on your tv
