Re: Anyone got there PS3 yet from Parceline?

I get peed off with people saying delivery drivers never knock or knock and run

I work for Royal Mail and do a parcel area, You cant imagine the amount of times ive stood on a doorstep ringing doorbells standing for ages like a wally only to find out the bell has not worked in years

People phone up and say your bloody driver didnt knock when i can assure you i bloody did, And always more than once, I like all drivers want to get rid of ever parcel as if i dont the odds are it will have to be redelivered causing me more work the next day

Why wouldnt i knock you door?

I take pride in my job and know what its like to be waiting for an item to be delivered and do my best to get things to people as soon a possible.

Ever thought when the driver came you could have not heard his knock/ring?

Could you have been on the toilet?

Out the garden hanging the washing?

I think you get my point eh?

Go easy on us drivers 99% of us do a good job.

Most of you do a great job, but why do you always call when I have just nipped out for 10 mins or sitting on the toilet? Most inconvenient.

Re: Anyone got there PS3 yet from Parceline?

Yeah that's all very well and good but my flat is TINY and when the buzzer goes off it shakes the furniture, so when I had a Comet on the phone saying "The driver says nobody was in" I called them out on it BIG TIME. After being put on hold for 5 minutes they eventually admitted that they didn't ring the bell because they couldn't find the place Wasted a whole day of work for that nonsense.
