Anyone compared the Picture Quality of a Fat vs Slim

I got my Slim to replace my broken 40G yesterday and today had a quick game of MW2..

I have noticed that the picture just seems more bright (not in a good way).. Like its washed out.. Its only slight, but it seems to lack as much contrast as the old model.

Has anyone else changed from a Fat to a Slim and noticed any difference?

Jon

I've also noticed no difference between my 60GB and Slim.

Thanks all.. I must be just imagining it (or looking for problems)

I looked at the brightness on COD and if anything it was too LOW..

My old PS3 is still working after my YLOD repair, but I don't know how long.. I will connect it back up and do a side by side test, just to put my mind at rest.

Cheers

Jon

Try adjusting the Superwhite and RGB colour range settings in the PS3 display settings menu. You may have had these enabled on your fat PS3 but I think they are disabled by default. If you have adjusted your TV for these settings that's why it might seem dark.
