Hi, i'm possibly getting a slim from a seller on ebay close to me so as I can pick it up in person, having narrowly missed out on them at Sainsburys at £199 this si a pretty good deal. Anyway, this seems to be a PS3 that the fella got with a mobile phone contract and as such no receipt, do I just use the warranty card in the box? its not sealed but the guy only opened to check the contents.

Do I need the receipt for warranty or just register it with the supplied warranty card in the box?

I don't think you need any receipt at all, just the serial number will do usually...

thanks, do I just need to create a psn account and add the ps3 details in the relevant section?
