YLOD for 4th time flow fix?

Well i've had to get the hairdryer out again and fed up with it now....before anyone says send it to Sony there is no way i'm sending my beloved PS3 to a bunch of butchers that might as well send me back a tissue box filled with used tissues.
Maybe a bit unfair but I've studied the videos on Youtube and feel confident enough to do the repair myself. Refering to many other posts on here the refurbs or so called repairs people recieve back are shoddy to say the least. I'd rather attempt the repair myself and feel confident it will work again without having to send my PS3 back time and time again as well as parting with over £120 of my hard earned cash.
So my question is who has repaired their PS3 with the full flow method? Are there are any issues and more to the point is it still working?
I know there are plenty out there that have attempted it so fill me in chaps.
Cheers
