Got this today from Game - even though other places (including other branches of Game) claim it's not released until next Friday.
Initial impressions are it's great.
I'm worried how much FIFA 10 I'll play as Live 10 is a great competitive team sports game & the end to end nature of basketball makes for some exciting matches.

One thing to note: Dynamic DNA costs £11.99 on PSN but there is a free code in the box!

Hi, it sounds like I am in a similar position to you and weighing up Live v NBA2K10. I enjoyed NBA2K8 but not had any of the recent games. I am really enjoying the NBA Live 10 demo which has a real fluid feel and looks great. I gather from your comment you would recommend! Does the voucher in the box give you a full season of dynamic DNA?

How are you finding the dunks this year. I gather from the demo they are context sensitive i.e. your player reacts to the situation rather then you determining the style?

Just moved the difficulty up & it's like a new game. An even better game. I would recommend it without question!
Yes the code is for a full season.
Yes the dunks are context sensitive.
Played my 1st online games this morning & the games flowed just like the real sport with good/bad streaks.

Bottom line is that this game has restored my faith in competitive sports games. It does represent the game well & it's great fun!
A solid 9/10 score from me!

Sounds good. Been away from the NBA for a while but now i have ESPN HD been really keen to get back into it. Think I will pick this up from Game as have a £5 voucher from Game they sent me for late delivery of FIFA 10.
