PS3 Discovery Map

OK, I think we all know that you can upload your game save to Criterion's website to find the Jumps, Smashes or Billboards that you maybe missing.

However, I seem to be having a problem with mine. I back-up my Burnout Save at least once a week to a USB stick. After playing last night, I now have one of each Jump, Smash and Billboard to find, but after spending a couple of hours last night driving around I cannot find them.

I have just tried to take a look using the Criterion website where the missing one are but either the instructions on the website are wrong or there is something wrong with my save.

According to the Criterion website the Save should be located on this file path - X:\PS3\SAVEDATA\BLES00073 - you then have to find the save file named EXPORT and upload it to the website.

However there is no file named EXPORT in the Burnout Folder. All I have is what is shown below. If I upload one of the files then all I get is a blank map. When I click on the option to show what missing, it shows that I haven't done any of them.

There is a path on the USB stick - X:\PS3\EXPORT\PSV - but this contains no Burnout data.

Anyone here help at all?

Re: PS3 Discovery Map

I would guess that you missed out instruction #1 on the criterion website

Re: PS3 Discovery Map

Bit strange that I see you asked the same question earlier today on the official forums, got the same answer, and even commented back to that answer ... so why did you need to ask again

Re: PS3 Discovery Map

Without saving from within the game itself, I took the save file that was on the HDD and interestingly it was in a different folder, beginning with NPUB (I forgot the rest).
I uploaded that, and it seemed to work fine

So what exactly is the point of the in-game save option? I didn't even know it was there
