What I mean is that I rented the game and really like it - if I purchase it from PS Store will it overwrite my existing game saves/settings??

Doubt it, but to be sure save it to usb then reinstall it once you dl the game

The download and disk version are not compatible, so if you swap between them then your game save will not work (and copying/reinstalling the save doesn't do anything, you have to start again). Also the game updates are seperate too, so when you purchase via PSN you will have to download all the updates again.

best solution for you would be to check out the classifieds on here and find a cheap UK copy (if you buy a non-uk copy then you have to purchase DLC from the other PSN stores).

+1 I'm sure you'll be able to get the disk version cheaper than the PSN version as it's been out for so long.

I ordered the ultimate box from Gameplay last week for £17.99. This was after I tried getting the regular version from eBay, in all cases it ended up going for about 11-12 quids.

According to Burnout Paradise - The Ultimate Box (PS3) - Compare Prices, several merchants have it at £17.99, one even at £15.95
