I am downloading it now, how come it is so big? And whats new?

Its for the big island and the cars. It's in the update and you pay for a code to unlock them.

if they didn't do it this way you won't be able to see the ppl that do have big islands cars driving around paradise.
Same as they did for CnR you can see the cop cars but can't play the game.

I think it was just to get ready for the big surf island add on. Nothing new was added AFAIK. It's so big because it downloads the surf island update and then when you buy the island from the store it just unlocks. Without this update you wouldn't be able to see other people's big surf island cars/buggys.

How long is the download taking for you guys?

I'm on a 2Mb connection (just under tested my PC) PS3 telling me will take 200+ mins?

Checked my connections and everything seems OK.

Seems a hell of a long time.

8MB connection took me around 30 mins.

4MB connection took me 30 mins today.
Yesterday though, when I tried it, it said 4 hours remaining, so I canceled it

I guess it must have been peak time.
