Question Sponsor Codes - Workaround for Lack of Screen?

Would disconnecting my PS3 and deleting the Game Data (not save data!) give me access to the codes screen again for the extra cars? I'm a big fan of the GT and wouldn't mind the Steel Wheels!

P.S. I've got the PS Store version of the game (downloaded it in November).

Re: Sponsor Codes - Workaround for Lack of Screen?

They did indeed phairplay in the beginning of the year, I just wanted to see if deleting the game data would revert the version so I can use the codes.

just spotted a thread about it.. http://www.avforums.com/forums/burno...code-menu.html

But it'd be good if someone could confirm it works!

I've not tried it but certain it would work. The sponsor code menu is on the disk, an update could only disable it from being used, it would be impossible to totally delete it.

Re: Sponsor Codes - Workaround for Lack of Screen?

Yes, I think this does work as i've just tried it and the two uk codes went
in ok!
Just re-installing the six updates though

Funny how much they have actually changed, especially the interface-
shame they got rid of the awesome flaming EA logo

Will confirm that it works when it's done, (I backed up my save just in case, but there should be no problem)
