The manhole cover in the Home Square is now open. It's called 'Home maintenance' and apparently is part of the xi thing

New fragment available and looks there are some more tasks/mini-games to come from within the area.

Fragment comes from completing a security related task but, there are also 3 passwords and a 4 digit locker code to find, assume there are related to the upcoming tasks - no harm in working them out now though!

That means Kotaku. And that means, if you have a burning question for Abrams, Pine or Quinto, we'll try to ask it on ur behalf.

And if you have a preference for which of the three you'd like us to start cabbage patching with first, we'll try to honor that too.
They'll also be holding a post Q&A "virtual roundtable" within Home. Both events will be streamed live online at the Star Trek PlayStation Home web site.

So, think of something extremely clever, cutting and maybe insightful to ask, and we'll see you there on Monday.."

The outfits will be avaialbe in home on the 23rd of april XD

Home is getting better... the EA poker has legs if they can implement the virtual currency that was in the preview vids. It is a bit pointless at the moment though as everyone just goes All In all of the time.

I played once yesterday, and it fairly quickly came down to a showdown between me and this French speaking fella. He kept going all in after the deal, and urging me to play... I didn't see the point of risking it until I had a decent hand. I tried a few times to bet sensibly when I had a mediocre hand, but he'd just raise to All in. He got bored eventually and left the table and said in dodgy english (although much better than my French)... something along the line of... "please don't play with me again, boring". The thing was it was his tactics that made it boring... if he would of bet sensibly I could of been more aggressive, but his stupid tactic meant I had to sit and wait for a hand that was odds on to survive the rest of the cards being dealt.

So yeh some virtual currency and different level tables would make it more worthwhile.

Does anyone use voice chat in Home? I've definitely got my microphone configured correctly because when I go to the settings, it sounds up but when I'm in Home, pressing (and holding) R2 does nothing.

Voice chat was removed if public spaces because it was too much of a strain on the servers. It currently works in apartments but is fully coming back to the public spaces soon along with picture frames in the apartments.

I'm not sure about a SF4 space. There's outfits you can buy and they added game launching for it yesterday, so you never know

I played that racing game in the EA sports arena on Friday, & I came first.

I received a notification saying that I'd received a message & prize of some sort from EA, but I was too slow to read what it said.

Does anyone know what it is that you win for coming first in the race?
