Difference between stores?

Is there a difference between the UK and US stores or any other countries stores? Talking about content such as different demo's, themes etc....?

Re: Difference between stores?

You'll probably get directed to another thread, but yes, there's a big difference.

There's lots of different content on both the jp/hk and us stores to what we have - there are ways of paying for this using third party sites but not all of it is compatible with uk software.

Different demos go up on the stores, for instance right now on the US store there's a condemned 2 demo that's only available there.

Basically, just get accounts for all of the stores (it's free and easy peasy to do) and have a look yourself. That way you can just pick and choose what you want.

Sorry but I would say it's the opposite way around. Registered for US network over the weekend & there seems to be much more there than on the UK store.

I did register for Jap store also but seeing as I don't understand Japanese am having a few problems

I would have to disagree with that too. There is far more content on the US and Japanese stores then there is on the UK one.

Re: Difference between stores?

would it be because i am in the US right now and registered my uk account? because there is alot more demos on the uk one for me and alot more trailers for games and movies. my US store seems to be a little short on content

Re: Difference between stores?

registered a US account and theres deffo more content. Tried registering a Japanese one got the page six of the signing up and hit a problem where I can't work out what it's asking me to fill in. It's giving me the option of only numbers so I'm thinking either a phone number or zip/post code

There is a link to a step by step guide for creating a Japanese PSN account in this thread.
