Re: The PSN Weekly Update Thread.

I think it might be too early still. The US store wasn't updated until fairly late yesterday I think. I would give some more time. That said by Sony's past track record and the poor to say the least US update this week I wouldn't expect too much.

Re: The PSN Weekly Update Thread.

This thread is a good idea - not that there will be much to post about.

Hope we at least get a new game tonight - been a long time since Rub a Dub. You would think they could at least make up for the lack of full-price games by keeping the PS Store well stocked.

Re: The PSN Weekly Update Thread.

Don't know about tonight, but these are the only release dates I know of so far:

Calling all Cars - May 25th
Nucleus - June 1st
Super Stardust HD - June 15th

And Go Puzzle! is now overdue a release (was planned for April).

I think Go! Puzzle got renamed to Go! Swizzleblocks, and according to PlayStation UK should be released today (18th May)

Re: The PSN Weekly Update Thread.

Yawn, this is worse than watching paint dry. Buying Calling All Cars from the US store is looking like a worthy idea now. I wonder how inflated the US/Jap sales are from all Euro import/downloads...

Re: The PSN Weekly Update Thread.

so what happend to that go game? It actually says on the PS3 website that it is due for release today (18th I mean) So it is not just ANY website saying that, that's Sony themselves. Getting quite annoyed with these stupid trailers of adverts! Dont get me wrong, love the movie trailers, I'm speaking about the PS3 adverts ones! Sheesh

Re: The PSN Weekly Update Thread.

Well the store had more content added to it then there has been for a while, but it's not great content, we get a game but it's only Q-bert not exactly one i was looking forward to although you cant grumble at £2.00, the rest is trailers of which none were worth downloading for me really i already had the Pirates one from the U.S store and I'm not bothered how the living adds were made, Ridge racer 7 got another music pack update but at £3 unless i can hear what they sound like before i download them i'm not going to waste my money on them. all in all it's good to see a bit more of an effort in adding stuff but it's still far from what other stores have and are adding. Ie Still no MK2 or calling all cars, PSone games etc, and it makes it worse when you see trailers of PSN games from Sony's gamers day ie Pain and you know the Euro store is going to be the last if at all to get them.

Another week of gems eh!! I do love QBERT, at last a game and just not more pointless costumes and music!! How conceited are Sony getting though...Do they really think with these Ferrero Roche 'zay are really spoiling us??!!How can they believe anyone cares how they made that dumb advert?? its hardly the work of George Lucas!!

Re: The PSN Weekly Update Thread.

Isn't it about time we got some exclusive PS3 demos, just like 360 seems to getting at the moment? I am a bit cheesed off with it to say the least!

Give me playable demos of Lair, Heavenly Sword, Ratchet and Clank, Drakes Fortune, Little Big Planet, and whatever else there is! I mean, some of these titles are due out in two months!

Even some cross-platform demos would'nt go amiss the way things are at the moment. Are Sony deliberately trying to make Xbox Live look way better?

What on Earth is happening with PSN store?

Well?

Come on Sony! Pull your fingers out, and give us some content!

Again, another week, and only one video (Uncharted: Drakes Fortune), and that is on the US store! Are you deliberately trying to show Xbox Live in a more favourable light? They're getting demos, beta's, videos, on a regular basis. I'm not too bothered about multi-platfrom releases, but I would like to see the exclusive content for us to savour. Lair is out in 2 months, where is the playable demo?

I am seriously not happy with PSN store at the moment!

Rant over. Sorry

And are you really expecting anything much? If the US store is getting naff all, with all the extra content that has over the Euro store, then I suspect it will be about the same. Perhaps I could always purchase Q-BERT..

Re: What the **** is happening with PSN store?

Calling All Cars is this week for those of us that haven't bought it from the US store. That should be a good 'un.

However, given that Sony has a pretty decent back catalogue of PS1 games, you would have thought they would have delivered more through the shop, which would have helped to navigate us through the lull that follows all launches. Ninty has shown the way there.
