wired or wireless??

Hi all, is there an advantage on using a wired connection over wireless. Reason for asking is that playing cod on my xbox I was pretty much always in the top 3, would get plenty of kills etc.

When I have played it on my ps3 I struggle, I end up in the bottom 3 most times and struggle to get many kills.

Have I just got useless with age or do you think the connection may be the cause.

Thanks.

No I'm only joking but I do find COD easier on X box than PS3 for some reason and mine are both wired connections

Are you sure your not just used to the Xbox pad and are taking longer to adapt to the ps3 pad?, though if you use both systems often then it shouldn't be much of an issue. I remember my first game on Xbox blops after spending like ten days on the ps3 one, I couldn't even steer properly with the stick so I ended up with a whopping one kill.

I use a wired connection now, gives me an extra 2mb download speed when compared to wireless, even though the router is in the same room as the console. Though that extra speed doesn't change anything, still get the exact same amount of lag in game and all that good stuff.

its nothing to do wether its wireless or wired connection, you maybe are better on x-box and got too used to it that you can barely play it on ps3, because they both have a controller that is a different size, the x-box controller is bigger and the ps3 controller is smaller, so ur just used to the x-box you will take time to adapt to the ps3 controller, when u get used to it u will be fine

Have to say I'm exceptionally bad at MW3 and live in the bottom 3...
I have played on both consoles, however I do fare better on my mates Xbox..... even though I don't own one...
