Can't log in to PSN

Can't log in to PSN
I can't log in to the PSN using my PS3 or PC. According to uk.playstation.com the PSN is currently "on". Anyone else having problems?

Can't log in on the website. They were supposed to be doing maintenance at 10am!

EDIT: PS3 logged in fine!

Logged in on PS3 fine but it seems really slow (chat rooms etc).

The PSN "on" or "off" indicator at playstation.com is pointless if it never actually reflects the service's status. I remember the last time there was a big, planned PSN outage: the website indicator said "on" throughout the downtime. If it's not right when they have planned a suspension, why should we ever trust it?

I just got CODMW2. when i tried to play it started downloading a game update which was 15mb.

it went from taking 7 minutes to 75 minutes so i cancelled it.

since then i cant log in to PSN.

If anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated

Having issues here myself, can't access the PSN network via any of my systems, I'm sure this is a problem with BT as I could log into PSN via my 3G dongle fine ?

Anyone else with BT that can clarify please ?

i'm on orange and cant sign in either of my ps3's. definatly not an internet issue as i could search the web on the ps3 and the laptop has been connected fine all night as im on it now!

i've reset the router a few times and still no joy

I got the same problem too, anybody else still experiencing probs this evening?

I get error 80023017 trying to sign into Playstation Network.

For me the same here in Belgium, no PSN, can't even logon to MW2 servers.

Looks like some maintenance before the 3.10 patch, but they could have warned the users

I was having problems logging in to PSN all day yesterday and today, then experienced connection problems last night with MW2. It would be nice if someone from the Sony 'Ivory Towers' could shed some light on this.

Update lol
Just this minute got kicked off PSN and had to sign in again, my friends sent me a message asking if I was having any problems and I've just replied saying yeah. So it seems PSN is acting up tonight...

Stlll can't get in at all. My internet connection is fine but attempts to connect to the PS network just time out.

Anyone have any ideas?

Turn your Router or Modem off at the socket for 2 mins then turn back on and when all lights are displaying then turn your PS3 console back on ~HTH~

Thanks solved this now. Wrong MTU setting on my router and nothing to do with the PS network.
