Re: Psn Home ? dont work

Yep. I didnt really try home, and I set an account up just before the update. A couple days later I came back and got the update, now it just locks up so I havent bothered with it.

Did you try uninstalling home and reinstalling it as I mentioned in my thread on the issue? Press triangle when home icon is selected on the XMB and delete it, then reinstall by selecting icon again and pressing X.

Try the following, should sort it:

Quote:
If you still experience difficulties logging in after deleting and reinstalling the client, we suggest that you delete the Apartment save data for the last apartment that you visited. Deleting this save data will erase the furniture layout for the apartment selected, but it will not otherwise affect your inventory or cause you to lose any of your items. Select “Save Data Utility” under the “Game” column on the XMB. The name of the Apartment is displayed under the date of the save data.

What version of Home are you on? V1.32 is meant to fix the freezing problem with previous version.

Hmmm....... did you check that the file you deleted was the only one? Worth making sure there are no other data files for home in the data saves.

Running out of ideas fast

Exclamation

I'd like to check something with you guys, I can get on Home but not very often. I have a suspicion that my wireless connection is hampering the connection to the PSN. How many of you guys can get on Home frequently without connection/parse errors with a wireless connection? I might try using a wired connection but this means more hassle installing cables etc. Thanks in advance.

Since the update, its certainly worth using now. This is what it should have been like when it originally went public.
