Re: Got £35 in my account - Not sure what to buy

Wipeout HD Complete pack - it's a full game, and the Complete Pack which was released a couple of days ago comes with the Fury add-on as well, for only £17.99
High Velocity Bowling - fun game as well, £4.79 or something like that

Just bought Gauntlet, Championship Racing and Flowers. Just got enough left for BF1943 and Wipeout Fury expansion pack.

Super Stardust HD all the way!

Modnation Racers will be great when the finished version comes out soon. Gravity Crash looks pretty good, I'm going to get it when I've got some money.

Siren is very good if you like scarey

The concept is interesting enough but I found in reality it wasn't a game I enjoyed. Might be worth you swinging by the PSN Games thread or the XBOX Live thread as there is a bigger following in those threads.

What about Sim City 2000, I saw that there. That and Theme Park were legendary back in the day

Yeah I have no idea why that game is so highly revered. Trine is more interesting to play.

Yes, after reading about Braid it sounded great, but I watched the demo on PSN and was underwhelmed to say the least. The concept sounds a bit like that cat with the hoover xbox game from some years ago, Blinx or summat.

Flower is good if you haven't got it already. Blew me away and pretty unique game play. FFVII as someone has already suggested, Vagrant Story for £4.99 is not bad.

Out of interest, how do FFVII, Vagrant story and other PS1 games look on, say, a 40" HD TV?

Umm I won't lie to you on my 42" looks like **** (well like a ps1 game!) but I think its more to do with the gameplay anyway.

Yeah, I loved FFVII and Vagrant Story first time round, was happy to see them on PSN Store, however, I wondered if it was better to leave myself with the memory of great graphics and game play for their time.

I really like Shatter, Trine is absolutely fantastic, and you can't go wrong with any of the Pixeljunk games, particularly their latest, Pixeljunk Shooter (I would steer clear of Pixeljunk Racer though).
