my ps3 60gb has died and im gonna go for one of the argos bundles that includes an extra controller,should i bother as i have 2 with my old console,the ones i have are the with 4 lights are they all compatible and are the new ones any better.

They're all compatable.

Does your vibrate ? If not, its a sixaxis - if it does then its a dualshock 3.

Dualshock 3 are the better newer ones.

mine dont vibrate,but there fine for cod.
mine have 4 lights so id thought maybe they were only compatible with the 60gb as it has 4 usb ports.

Also the ones argos bundle in are usually nasty IR controllers.

thanks for that uridium,i noticed that late last night when the difference was explained by deejay,so i will probably go for prince of persia and far cry option.
i will get a 10% discount as the daughter in law works at argos plus there giving a tenner voucher for anything over £100,thi will knock the price down to £215.

This'll save me makin a new thread, If you use your Dualshock 3 wired do you get a slightly faster response time than having it wireless ? in games like FIFA can it make a difference..
