Wireless and Bluetooth problem

Evening people.

I am having an issue with my Wireless connection and my Blue Tooth. I can game away quite happily, with 100% signal strength on my Wireless. If I however switch on my Blue Tooth headset (official Sony one or another type), then my Wireless signal drops to around 75% and then I get disconnected from any game I am playing. The signal goes up and down between 75% and 80%, but as soon as I switch off my headset, it goes straight back to 100%

I currently have the Wireless set to channel 10, but I'm sure I changed it previously when I had this problem and it made no difference. I even purchased an official Blue Tooth set, as I thought it was the cheap one causing a problem.

I've scoured through the menus and can't see any settings that I can change
Any ideas on what I can do to fix it?

Re: Wireless and Bluetooth problem

I had this issue the other day. Either change the channel setting to 11 on ps3 and modem, or the most simple way which is what i did was to hard wire the ps3 with ethernet cable.

This issue only started with me after firmware 3.0 update, and only happened with the Sony official headset all other bluetooth devices worked fine.
